Winter Wonderland!

So it's winter time in good ol' Tennessee! We have actually had some snow already which is pretty early for us. The pictures I'm posting are actually from last year, but I thought you'd be interested to see what it looks like when it snows. I had never seen snow until I moved here so it's been a treat! It is not fun to drive in (well I don't think so, but Andy does..lol) but it sure is beautiful! It just puts a smile on my face :) I hope we get more snow than we did last year, but this particular snow from last year was a pretty one! Enjoy!

CAMPING!

Okay, so I am WAY behind on this thing and I apologize :(. We went camping the weekend after our anniversary which was in August!! This is what happens when I'm in school..I have no life to do fun stuff, like blog and keep everyone updated on the Law family household :). Camping was a blast! We stayed Friday night and Saturday night in The Smoky Mountain National Park in Cades Cove. The weather was beautiful! It was so nice to lay in the tent at night or during the day and just relax. I do recommend going for more than 3 days because it is A LOT of work setting up! I felt like we set up camp and then took it right back down. We played lots of cards (gin rummie!) and I was able to read a lot which was nice. We took walks and got lots of ice cream cones at the camp store. They are delicious! We're hoping to go again sometime soon. It will probably be in the spring or after graduation. We can only hope! lol We are always so busy.
Andy was the "fire man" the whole time, he was always playing with the fire..go figure!

Mom and I were the camp cooks :) We had lots of interesting meals that we learned from girls camp in June.

We've been married a whole Year!!! :)

So I am late in posting and haven't posted since Sam and Jackie were here..but things have been busy and not a whole lot has been going on except for in the past two weeks! Saturday August 9th was our 1 year anniversary!! We were really lucky to be able to spend the weekend in Nashville and go to the Nashville Temple. Andy and I both have callings in the youth and they had a temple trip that day to do baptisms. It was really wonderful! Neither of us had been to that temple before and we hadn't been to any temple since we were married. (The horrible life of working retail!) It was really great and I hope that we will be able to go more ofen. I can't believe that it has already been year. It's been wonderful and I feel so lucky to have an amazing husband! I'm so excited to make more memories and experience more things with him by my side :)

Sam & Jackie Visit!

Jackie sent me the pictures from her camera so I wanted to post them. They visited us for fourth of July weekend and we had a blast!! We stayed up late, played rockband (don't ever let Sam play the drums on medium! haha), and we watched movies! We miss them a lot and hope that they will consider moving to good ol' Tennessee! The night before they left we went and ate out Outback with my parents. The other picture is of us eating at the lake. I made a really yummy (well atleast thats what everyone said..lets hope they weren't lying!) macaraoni and cheese. I will post it for those who are interested in making the dish. :)

Fourth of July

Today is the 4th of July and we spent the whole day at the lake with Sam and Jackie! They are visiting us for the weekend. We had lots of fun, swimming, wave-running, and water skiing. We are so glad to have them here with us and are hoping they will move here!!! :) Here are some pictures to show you how much fun we were having. We have all decided that we've gained weight since we got married! Just a warning! lol
